In this book, Hare, Owl, and Hedgehog are planning a party and they invite everyone to come, including the Wicked Witch. She says she doesn’t want to come because she’s making an important potion. On the day of the party, the music is so loud it ruins her potion, so she goes to the party to ruin it, but the Hare keeps interrupting her before she can cast a wicked spell. He welcomes her and dances with her. Finally she decides she won’t destroy them, and instead she will give them a cake.

This book is really nice because it makes people want to be kind to other people and to welcome them. The animals were nice to the witch, especially the Hare, and he kept having her be part of the party. When she felt happy to be there she was really nice too. The pictures are fun because they look really joyful especially when the witch and the animals are dancing. This book has a good lesson and a good story that helps you see that you can be friends if you really try.
