Change the World Before Bedtime
Change the World Before Bedtime is a poem about how you can do good deeds and change the world. It begins as soon as you get up in the morning and walks you through all of the small things you can do throughout the day to show kindness and compassion toward others. It talks about using good manners, including others in your play, and taking care of our environment. Reading this poem made me feel that I should start my own garden and donate the food I grow to homeless people. It also inspired me to want to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
I recommend this book to people who are generous to remind them to keep doing more of what they are doing. I also recommend this book to people who are not always kind to others because after reading Change the World Before Bedtime, they may be inspired to start showing care and concern for the world around them. This poem describes so many different, interesting ways to demonstrate love and kindness and teaches you to share what you have in order to make the world a better place for everyone. All we need to do is start small in order to make a big difference. Change the World Before Bedtime reminds us to be loving and kind; the world needs more of this right now.
