Cat’s Egg

Cat was laying an egg. Dog was barking and Cat wanted Dog to be quiet because she was hatching an egg. Cat wanted Dog to sit on the egg so Cat can go get some lunch. Dog asks Cat to ask Crow to watch the egg for Cat. Cat wants Crow to watch the egg but Crow’s eggs are blue and big and Cat’s egg was yellow and small. Cat is annoyed and she feels a catnap sleep coming. Cat asks Cuckoo if she can watch her egg. Cuckoo lays her eggs in Crow’s nest. Cat picked up the egg and went to the beach Turtle. Turtle says to Cat “the egg is smelly.” Cat shouts “Dog, come my egg is destroyed!” Dog pokes the wet and soggy egg. Dog says politely, “Cat, this is a easter egg and small people eat it.” Then Dog and Cat snuggle together. Cat is wondering, closing her eyes, “you’re just a dog.”

My favorite part is when Dog saved his dinner for Cat because it’s so sweet. I want my teacher to read this to my classmates. I think they will like it because the story is about a Cat and an egg.
