Blue Planet: Life in Our Oceans and Rivers (360 Degrees)

One of the main reasons I like this book is that it is part of a series called Colors of the World by Moira Butterfield. I have read the book Green Planet: Life in Our Woods and Forests by the same author. Blue Planet has my favorite animals, which are sea mammals and fish. Once again, the illustrations by Jonathan Woodward are incredible. They are very colorful and just cool looking! My favorite part of this non-fiction picture book is called “Our Blue Planet.” It tells facts like how there are people who live on the waters of the world in specially built homes and how some sea creatures live so deep down that they never see sunlight. Did you know about 71% of Earth is covered in water? I learned so many things that I never knew before reading this book. This book is for people of all ages who like water animals and cool facts.
