Baby Wren and the Great Gift
There is a little bird and she wants to have something wonderful to do. She was just a little wren, but she saw ring-tail cats climbing and cartwheeling. She saw kingfisher fishing. She saw sunfish swimming and splashing. She saw eagles flying in the storm. She thinks those things are all wonderful. Then she saw the sunset and the sky and it made her feel like she just had to sing. She keeps on singing and singing and singing and her song is bigger than everything that she saw. She finds out that you can be different from other people, but you can do things too. That everyone has something wonderful that they can do. This book is so pretty and so nice. I love to see the pictures of all the animals that are in the Grand Canyon in the desert. The animals are all wonderful and do wonderful things, even the little wren. It is so nice at the end when the eagles tell her that her song is wonderful. This book makes you feel happy that you can do something wonderful too.
