This story is about a boy named Marty, who has just moved to a new town. His first day of school is a nightmare, from saying his name wrong to shooting a basketball in the other team’s net. After all those things happen, he tries to talk to the cool kids to no avail and gets “banished” to table 20, or as everyone who sits there calls it, the “zeros club”. The kids sitting at that table are known as weird by all the school, but they don’t mind. After introductions, they all head to Marty’s house but find something interesting. It seems to be a decommissioned robotic dog. After Marty grabs the robot dog’s collar it fires up and launches itself and Marty through the roof and into a mansion. They destroy the place, and the owner, who happens to be an evil scientist, is not happy.

I enjoyed this book a whole lot. It makes the reader connect to the characters by showing how they are outcasts, but they accept themselves. Along with the great writing and characters, the book is very funny, which complements the characters and story.
