Appleblossom the Possum
Appleblossom is a baby possum learning about possum life. Her parents and most of her siblings leave her, but her brothers Antonio and Amlet stay. They get food for themselves, but Appleblossom finds a human’s house. Their mother had told them that humans were dangerous, but the human, Lizzie, wants a new pet because her dog wasn’t allowed inside. So when Appleblossom stumbles down the chimney, she has to avoid all humans except for Lizzie, because Lizzie loves her and keeps her safe. But Amlet and Antonio need to get Appleblossom back.
This is a really exciting book, and I like it because it’s about family and love, and it’s about adventure and curiosity. But it’s still kind of sad, because the other children aren’t there, but Antonio and Amlet and Appleblossom always stay together even though their father and their mother go away. You can picture what happens in the story really easily, and it is easy and fun to read. The ending was surprising and fun and was a good ending to the story. I hope there will be more adventures with Appleblossom!
