Amos and the Moon

One night, Amos goes to bed and sees the moon in the mirror. He tells his teddy bear that the moon is now his and that he will play with it in the morning, but the next morning, the moon is gone. So he goes out to look for it. He meets lots of different people, and almost everyone gives him something, even though they can’t help him find the moon. The barber isn’t nice and just yells at him and tells him to go away, but everyone else was a friend. So then he goes home and that night he sees the moon again, but he knows the moon doesn’t belong to him.

I like this book because it’s interesting and nice. Most of the people are nice except for the barber, and it is fun to see all the different people Amos talks to and find out what they have to say to him. The man at the Chinese laundry told him that he could only have the moon every once in a while, and that was nice so Amos didn’t think he had lost the moon forever. This book has good pictures and a story you will like.
