Albert Adds Up!

Albert Adds Up is a book about adding and taking away in the Mouse Math series. Albert and Wanda are mouse siblings and they are always using math to help solve life problems. In this story Wanda brought home a new cool book from the library. Albert, Wanda’s brother, would trade anything for the new library book. I really liked the ending of the story, it made me smile. I loved the pictures in this book. I also liked how the math problem at the bottom of the page had a picture to go along with it. When my mom read the story to me, I didn’t like when she would ask me the math problem. I wanted her to keep reading. Sometimes the math problems distracted me from the story at least the first time we read it. When we read the story for the 2nd and 3rd time, I started to like trying to solve the math problem. I would tell my friends to read it, but read it all the way through first then read and do the math problems the 2nd time.
