The Treasure of Snake Island: A Captain No Beard Story

This book is called The Treasure of Snake Island. The parrot told the crew that when there is red sky in the morning sailors take warning, red sky at night sailor delight. The crew asked the parrot where did you hear that from and the parrot said I read it in a book. Then the crew went to snake island to find treasure. They found the treasure and I won’t give away the ending. My favorite character in the story was Captain No Beard because he had no beard but usually captains have beards. I liked this book because I wondered what was going to happen and I wondered what the parrot would do. My favorite part was when they said it was books instead of treasures. I liked that part because it really surprised me. I thought the treasure would be real gold but the ending surprised and delighted me. I really liked the pictures because it looked like a snake on the map where Snake Island was located. I think this book would interest children between the ages of 1-6 yrs old.
