Emotional Explorers: A Creative Approach to Managing Emotions
Emotional Explorers is a how-to about taking care of your inner world. It talks about koi fish, dragons, finding treasure, “emotional landscapes,” unique species that are endangered, and more. It is written by Maria Mercè Conangla and Jaume Soler. It also talks about social skills and managing emotions—something I do with my therapist Mr. C. One thing I especially like about this book is that it helps you do activities to manage your feelings. I think I should try some of these activities with Mr. C! You can be declared a World Heritage Site, take care of your house, be shipwrecked on an island, and more. How about a tea party? I love to pretend, and this book gives opportunities to use your imagination. I think that is a strength of this book that makes it useful and fun. We are what we are, and that’s what this book is all about. We are Intrepid Treasure Hunters. We are EMOTIONAL EXPLORERS. Anybody can enjoy this book – I know I do!
