Scooby-Doo!: Curse of the Stage Fright
Scooby-Doo!: Curse of the Stage Fright is a comic chapter book. The Mystery Inc. friends go to Crystal Cove Theater to see the famous play Hamlet. There is something suspicious about the lead actor who is playing Hamlet. Fred calls him a world-famous ham!
Before the play starts, a famous ghost-hunter asks the gang if they are worried about the ghost that haunts the Crystal Cove Theater. But, of course, successful investigators like Mystery Inc. would not be worried about a ghost! During the play, there is only supposed to be one ghost, but another real-looking ghost appears on stage. Everyone realizes it is not part of the play, and they all run away! The real-looking ghost says the theater is cursed and must be destroyed. When Daphne goes to investigate, she falls through a trap door!
Will Daphne be rescued? Will the gang figure out who, or what, is haunting the theater before it is too late?
This story was funny, suspenseful, and exciting. My favorite part was when Shaggy and Scooby are looking for the kitchen but end up in the makeup room. They are so hungry, they eat the makeup anyway! Gross!
