There once was a bear, a moose, and a beaver. They all decide it is a good time to climb a mountain. They have to cross all these things, and then they stop to have a snack. They ask what would make their climb more exciting, and the beaver suggests they have a race. They all set off, and the moose runs in front. Then, a boulder comes down and the moose gets out of the way, but falls off the side of the mountain. The bear follows the moose’s cries for help and gets stuck, too. Then, the beaver comes to help them both. And then, they all go up to the top of the mountain together and help each other along the way.

I love this book because it is so funny. My favorite part is where the bear is trying to rescue the moose, but slips! The pictures are really funny. They have a lot of details, and the animals have funny expressions, especially the beaver. I want to get the other books in this series!
