Waddle! Waddle!
In this book there’s a penguin. He was dancing on the ice with a bunch of other penguins. Then he says yesterday was the best day ever, because he found a new friend, but then he lost him. So he was trying to find him. So he walks off – waddle, waddle, belly slide! Then he meets another penguin. He hopes that is his penguin dancer friend, but that penguin just sings. The next penguin he meets isn’t a dancer; he plays a horn. But then he meets a snow monster that wants to eat him! Do you think he will find his friend?
The pengins in this book look really silly and funny. They are very big! I like this story because the penguin makes some new friends who help him. And it is really funny because he was clearly just looking for ice. There are not a lot of words in this book so it is easy to read and it is fun to read too. It is cute and it is funny because penguins don’t wear bow ties and hats and shirts, but they do in this book!
