Touch the Earth

Touch the Earth follows the White Feather Flier, a little airplane who wants to help the Earth. He shows how important water is to life on Earth. Everyone needs water. We need to keep the oceans clean. White Feather Flier teaches the four directions to help us fly. The reader gets to help White Feather Flier by pushing buttons and moving the book in a direction. White Feather Flier also shows that machines can help filter dirty water for people who don’t have clean water. Join White Feather Flier on his adventure.

I liked Touch the Earth because it was full of imagination and you got to press buttons and shake the book. It felt like magic. I liked the illustrations; they were not too detailed, but they felt soft and made me feel happy. It was neat to see the water-filtration machine. I really loved how interactive the book felt. I’m sure little kids would love it and get really involved with pressing the buttons and moving the book in different directions. It is a nice book to show how important water is to our Earth.
