This book is about a boy named Tom Gates, who is on a school vacation for two weeks. Tom has great plans, but he didn’t do his homework so he is supposed to finish it over vacation. He spends a lot time trying his best to not do it. He also likes to annoy is older sister, Delia, as much as possible. Tom also starts a band with his friend, Derek, but they don’t have a drummer. The band is named Dogzombies. They play at Leafy Green Old Folks Home, and the old folks really liked them. Will Tom get his homework done, and what will happen to the band?

I really liked this book because it is funny, and it has pictures in the story on every page. This is a really long book, but the pictures in the story made it very easy to read. I think this is a good book for kids who like funny stories. This book is part of a series, but I liked it even though I haven’t read the other books.
