Through the Wardrobe: How C. S. Lewis Created Narnia
Through the Wardrobe: How C.S. Lewis Created Narnia is an interesting book. I did not know much about him until I was read this book. I have the Narnia books at my house, but haven’t been read them yet.
The story of the author starts sad, as he had a lot of people who were close to him die while he was growing up. It is also sad to me that he stopped believing in God when he was at school because people were mean to him. I don’t understand why people are mean to other people. I am happy that he starting believing in God again when he got older, and that this gave him ideas for his stories. There is a lot to read in the book because the story starts when he was little and goes until he died.
There are several pages at the end of the book that have more information about him and his books; I did not understand a lot of this, only being in kindergarten, but my mom found all of it interesting. I would say that this book can be read by any age, but to understand it the best, the reader should be at least in first or second grade.
