Through the Dark (A Darkest Minds Collection) (A Darkest Minds Novel)

After begging and pleading for Bracken to have a mash-up of sorts so the novellas can all be in one giant book, well, obviously, she’s obliged! Even though these stories aren’t from our dear Ruby’s point of view, they all offer us detailed looks on what else is going on in the United States outside of the main storyline in The Darkest Minds Trilogy.

In Time, we get Gabe’s story and it has Zu! I think he’s a strong and caring boy and I enjoyed watching him grow through the novella.

Sparks Rise is the story of Sam, who in my opinion is amazing. Her storyline will have you rooting for her from the very beginning.

The third and final novella, Beyond the Night, was a continuum of Sam’s story. It was gorgeous and the perfect way to end this beautiful series.

If you haven’t yet read these wonderful books, please do yourself a favor and buy the first book, The Darkest Minds. It’s amazing and unique plus it has romance and kick-butt characters that are deeply flawed. But very love-able. I will miss them all deeply.
