Ranger’s Apprentice: Book 12: The Royal Ranger

This is book twelve and it says it is the last book in the series. I haven’t read all of the books yet, but I have read some of them and I love this story. The main character, Will, started his apprenticeship with the best ranger, Halt, when he was just a kid and now he is faced with an issue that makes him feel like giving up and walking away. Halt thinks this is not the way to help him and tells Will he is good enough to take on his own apprentice and this might help him.

This book might look really big but the words are nice and big and it makes it easier to read, especially for kids who really want a challenge because this is the best series to start with. It is full of action, mystery, and might remind you a little of a kids’ version of Lord of the Rings. I hope they make a new series with the princess ranger. I would definitely buy this entire series and start with the first one. You won’t be able to put them down!
