Thorfinn and the Raging Raiders
Thorfinn the Nicest Viking and the Raging Raiders is a really silly book. Thorfinn is the youngest in his family, and his father is chief of their village, Indgar!
Thorfinn and his family live in Indgar with lots of other Vikings, and he even goes to school there with his friend Velda.
The trouble begins when Freya, Thorfinn’s mother, is fed up with cleaning up after her fellow Vikings and runs off to the Icelandic Spa and doesn’t tell anyone!
After they figure out she is missing, the search begins! After a long journey, they finally find her again, and Thorfinn convinces his father and brothers to apologize, which is very, VERY uncommon for any Viking!
This book was super fun to read! It was a quick read, but I really enjoyed it! I thought the silly mix up between old and modern words was hilarious. The little cartoon drawings were a great addition, and I really love the silly Viking information at the end of the book together with the cool trading cards!
I bet boys and girls ages six and up would really have fun reading this book!
