Goliath is an 11-year-old kid who was born with an illness that requires him to use a wheelchair. One of the things Goliath can do is swim; however he doesn’t really like to swim because he doesn’t like to get wet. One day while waiting for his swim lessons that had been cancelled, Goliath fell into the pool while still in his wheelchair. Goliath was stuck because of the seatbelt on the wheelchair, and he couldn’t get free. Goliath passed out and didn’t wake up until he was in the hospital, Goliath had been saved by another boy at the pool named Tiny. This is the beginning of a friendship between Goliath and Tiny. Goliath started to get really sick, and the local doctors weren’t able to help him, but there were doctors on the other side of the world who could help him. Goliath and Tiny came up with a plan to have Tiny swim across the Atlantic to get to the medicine. Will they make it?

This story was very interesting. I loved how all the characters worked together. Goliath and Tiny were both boys who didn’t have many friends because they were different from other kids, but they were able to form a close friendship together.
