The Summer Experiment

In this book, you meet a blonde named Roberta. Roberta is working on a project for the Science Fair and is also trying to get revenge on her brother, Johnny, for scaring her. On the night Roberta tries to scare Johnny, she gets trapped in a cave and finds that it is two hours later than it should be. As result, Roberta decides to prove that aliens actually exist. In doing so, she goes out after dark and is kidnapped by the extraterrestrials. She becomes worried that she will never be able to come back, because they’re already out in space. I like this book because there was a lot of action, and because the aliens actually come to Earth. This book also helps you to realize that not everything should happen right away. Some things are best to just have their time to wait it out. I also liked the way the characters acted and because they were good people even though they sometimes made bad choices.
