This book is very interesting because all pictures are without colors, just black, white and gray. A little boy is excited because the parents promised to take him to the beach the next day but they expect a big storm, so the trip to the beach may need to be the following week. The boy is upset, he does not want to wait. It happens to me all the time, a promise is a promise! But the storm is really supposed to be strong, the parents prepare the house, close everything down. In the evening, the rain and wind start and they are very strong and scary. The boy goes to bed and only by putting the blanket over his head he stops hearing the rain. Then he dreams of being on a ship and to fight a big big storm in the ocean. It is a scary dream, but in the end the storm in the ocean stops. The boy wakes up, and the storm has really stopped. The sun is high and shiny, and they can go to the beach as promised.
