The Song from Somewhere Else
The Song from Somewhere Else is an exciting science-fiction book about two friends, Nick and Frank, who go to school together. Nick doesn’t have many friends at school, but one day he meets Frank and helps her fight and escape some mean bullies at school. After that they slowly become great friends, and soon Frank learns that there is something very special about Nick. Nick is from a different dimension, and there is a secret portal to a different world in his basement. Things start to go crazy after Frank is forced to tell their secret, and they have to make a very hard decision.
I really enjoyed the book, and it kept me on my toes throughout the whole story. It was very different from what I imagined. The drawings in the book were really beautiful and very detailed, so it helped me imagine the story even more. It was a little scary at the end, but I actually liked that, too. Everyone, boys and girls, possibly around 11 and up, would probably enjoy this story!
