I think this book is for people younger than me. The children stay up all night; that means they’re kind of nocturnal; if they’re up at night they will have to be asleep all day! Children wake up at night time and go and play at a type of parade called ‘The Night Parade’ because they like to play in the dark and all the grownups are asleep. So then they sing, and they play in the ocean. And then they go and make cupcakes for the moon and they get slobbered on their faces by dogs. Then they play a game and read mountains of books and they make up stories, and then they go back home and go to sleep because it is dawn.

The Night Parade book is really short, so that is everything that happens that I can remember to tell you. I like the pictures in the book. I don’t like it though because it too young for me. It would be good for someone who is like two or three years old, like my little sister.
