The Last Kids on Earth and the Cosmic Beyond
Jack, June, and the rest of their buddies have survived until the first winter of the Zombie Apocalypse. For them it means snowball fights and other things that waste time. But then, their “winter wonderland” turns pitch black. All of a sudden they are being hunted. Chased. Although there is something off about this villainess…. She is…Human. When she steals Jack’s monster-slaying weapon, he is determined to get it back. Unfortunately, that won’t be easy. The Louisville Slicer is the link to a dark plan that will take over the world and beyond.
This book is the fourth in the Last Kids on Earth series. In my opinion, I think the the first three are more exciting than this installment. The plot seems a bit more dull than the first three, although it gets more exciting toward the middle of the book. The characters have really changed over the course of the books, and it’s been a pretty good change! You do need imagination to read these books because almost all of the stuff is out of this world! This book would be good for ages 8-13.
