The Great Puppy Invasion
In little Teddy’s town, they do not allow cuteness, fun, or playing. But one day a puppy arrives, then hundreds of puppies. It was The Great Puppy Invasion. The townspeople did not know what to do. They tried to throw sticks at them, but the puppies brought them back. The people ran away to their houses but the puppies chased them. Little Teddy heard a bark from an itsy bitsy, tiny puppy. Teddy looked at the puppy and shook his paw. The people in the town thought maybe the puppies weren’t so bad after all.
I absolutely loved The Great Puppy Invasion. I love dogs, and I thought it was funny when the townspeople were scared of the cute, little puppies. This book made me laugh out loud, especially when they threw sticks and the puppies brought the sticks back; and when the puppies wagged their tails, one person said they were trying to hypnotize them. At the very end of the book, there is a cat sitting on the hillside, and I think it would be funny if the author wrote a second book about the great cat attack. This is also a great book for parents to read aloud to their little kids, especially if their kids like dogs.
