I read The Day Cagney Lost Her Wag by Laurie Salzier. Cagney is a golden labrador retriever. This is my favorite kind of dog. Cagney loves to go swimming and go for walks and loves to wag her tail. Lee is Cagney’s person. Cagney loves Lee, and she is really nice. After a day spent at the lake, Cagney is not feeling very well, and her body and tail are aching. Lee takes Cagney to Doctor Tom to see what is wrong with Cagney. The pictures are really cute. They look kind of like cartoon pictures, which is different. I wonder if the story is a true story or just based on something that the author saw happen to other animals that she worked with. I really enjoyed the book and learned something new. I give it five stars. Thank you.
