This book was about a magician’s apprentice and a one-winged fairy princess named Grit who explore a mysterious flying circus. The apprentice, who is Felix Carmer III, travels to explore the world. They then find a magical flying circus that doesn’t seem quite right.

As they travel around the queer world of Rinka Tinka’s Roving Wonder Show, they begin to wonder about that mysterious circus. The airship disasters around Driftside City have also contributed to the suspicion of the circus and its inventor. The plot of this tale was very intriguing and interesting, which is what kept me hooked. It always had some surprises and twists in the story that made it very enjoyable to read. The characters were very interesting and unique in a way that enhanced my experience with this book. The language was written quite well in a way that was also easy to understand. For this book, I think ages 10 and up would enjoy it. I would recommend this book if you like a good mysterious fairytale adventure.
