Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Read-Along Storybook and CD

This book is about the Empire Strikes Back story from the movie. I haven’t seen that movie yet but I did read this book. I like that there is a read-along CD that comes with the book. The main characters are Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. There are a lot of pictures that are look like photographs from the movie. I especially liked seeing all the pictures with light sabers because some of my friends have toy light sabers! Darth Vader and Luke are having a light saber battle when Darth Vader says, “Your destiny lies with me, Skywalker.” I think my favorite character is Chewbacca, because I read another book about Wookiees once. He looks furry and nice! There is a lot of action and even some scary parts in this story, like when Luke fell out of the hatch. “As he dangled in space, he used the Force to call for help.” This would be a good book for kids who are interested in the Star Wars movies, especially if they like books with read-along CDs. I am going to save this book and CD for my little brother because I think one day it will help him learn to read!
