Splat the Cat Goes to the Doctor

This story is about Splat the Cat going to the doctor for a checkup. He doesn’t want to go, because his friends tell him that he will get wrapped up in bandages and the doctor will give him a “ther-mom-o-meter thingy.” When he goes to the doctor it isn’t as scary as he thinks it will be.

I love the pictures because they look funny and the words fit them well. My favorite pictures are when Spike shows what the scary “ther-mom-o-meter thingy” is like, and when Splat’s mom pulls him by the tail to the doctor’s office. Splat the Cat Goes to the Doctor is a fun book that helps kids not to be afraid to go to the doctor. Another fun thing is that it comes with stickers at the end of the book. I used my stickers to make a cool picture. My grandma reads a lot of Splat the Cat stories to me. I enjoy them a lot. If you love Splat the Cat stories, you’ll love Splat the Cat Goes to the Doctor. It’s really great, and I recommend it to all my friends.
