Some Very Messy Medieval Magic
I think that Some Very Messy Medieval Magic was a good book. It is about Pete and his friend Weasel. Pete is a wizard, so he knows and can use spells for certain things. He and Weasel can also travel in time since they time traveled to England in the year 1173 to change the past. Since Pete did not close all the time locks, Peter of Bramwell was missing when he wasn’t supposed to be, which changes the future. It is now Pete’s duty to fix it.
This story had a very creative plot. Time travel and wizardry are both very overused topics for books, but I have never seen them combined. I also like how two characters can communicate via mind messaging. It makes the dialogue a lot more interesting (a LOT), and it makes the story even more unique. I also like how the talking animals add a little bit more fantasy to the story. Again, interesting dialogue. Overall, this was a very creative story, and I enjoyed it.
