Sofia has a magic amulet (charm) that her new dad, King Roland, gave to her. It lets her talk to animals, and it also sends princesses when she needs help. The king told her nobody should know about these powers, but one day, her step sister Amber finds out about the amulet’s power. Amber asks if she could have a turn with it but Sofia says no. So Amber takes the amulet without telling Sofia and wishes for another princess to appear. Her name is Princess Ivy. She is a bad and mean princess and she steals the amulet. The mean princess came because the amulet got cursed when Amber stole it. So Amber and Sofia spend the rest of the book working together to come with a plan to break the curse and make Princess Ivy disappear. Will their plan work?

I like this book because it is fun and it makes you think! My favorite character is Sofia because she is kind, helpful, and very brave. I would recommend this book to my friends.
