Sniff! Sniff!

The little girl wakes up, and so does the dog. The dog smells breakfast, and eats it. He runs over to the garden and he digs in the garden. He digs a hole through the fence and he goes through the pond in the park and he chases the squirrels. Then, he smells something else – a ball, a dog, and a bone. He gets other puppies and he plays with them. He smells the garbage so he goes to the garbage and some nasty milk comes out of the used-to-have-milk bottle, and an eaten fish and an eaten apple. He gets stinked up a little! He smells a bath: soap, towel, rubber ducky. Bath. Then Love. Shake, shake!

It’s funny how the dog smells all these things, and he gets really messy. He is such a naughty puppy! He likes all the smelly things, but not the bath! He finds his friends, and he plays with them, but he likes his girl the best. My favorite picture is where the puppy smells bacon and eggs! Other children will like this book too because they will laugh at this naughty dog!
