Simon’s New Bed

Simon’s New Bed is about a big dog named Simon who gets a new bed. But before he can take his first nap on it, the cat, Adora Belle, lays down and will not get off. Simon tries to get her off by barking at her to “move” and even dragging her and his bed all over the house and even in the backyard. She will not get off. So Simon’s last resort is to ask Adora Belle to share.

I liked Simon’s New Bed because it was about a dog and a cat. I also have a dog and a cat and just like in my house, the cat is the boss of the dog. I thought this book was so funny. It was so funny that my sister laughed so hard she blew water out her nose. My favorite part was when Simon when was drinking out of the toilet. Everytime Simon barked “move”, my dog Tilley barked at my mom who was reading. That made me laugh even more. I think other kids would also love this book.
