Shark Detective!
In the book Shark Detective, Shark lives in a hotel all by himself. He likes to watch detective shows, and at night he dreams of being a detective himself. One day, Shark sees a poster with a missing kitty, and realizes that HE could find the kitty! He researches books and trains himself to be a good detective. But, when he tries to ask people if they have seen the kitty, they scream and run away! It is funny when the people say, “Don’t eat me!” and he replies, “But I’m a vegetarian!”
Finally, Shark finds Kitty. He realizes that Kitty is not lost – he is just trying to find his mousey toy! Shark uses his new detective skills to help find the toy. When Shark brings Kitty back home, Kitty’s family is so grateful, they ask Shark to stay with them and become a part of the family. Shark isn’t lonely anymore!
It makes me so happy that Shark gets to be a detective and finds a family! I love the pictures in this book because they are bright, colorful, and cheerful.
