Science Comics: Trees: Kings of the Forest
Science Comics: Trees: Kings of the Forest is an educational book all about trees. It tells you all about how trees can do stuff like photosynthesis, how roots are made, how trees are food for animals and bugs and oxygen for people. There’s some really big trees. like redwoods, banyans, and dragon trees. Dragon trees sound so cool because they have something that looks like blood that drips. Trees are amazing. It’s awesome that trees can kind of talk to each other–I couldn’t believe it.
I really like that it’s a fun and funny graphic novel, but it’s also science, so it’s educational. My favorite character was the little acorn and the little bug–they were so cute. I also read the other Science Comics, Coral Reefs: Cities of the Ocean by Maris Wicks and liked that one, too. I recommend this book to somebody who is interested in trees.
