This is a gripping fantasy and adventure with demons, angels, and so much more. Sage Alexander is a talented warrior who is descended from angels and humans. His mission is to rid the world of the evils from fallen angels. After having saved his father from the Prince of Greed, he embarks on a new adventure. Sage and his brother are on an exploration trip with their grandfather in a jungle, searching for evidence of a rogue tribe of Inca people. When Sage’s brother, Nick, gets kidnapped by Belphegor, the Prince of Sloth, Sage embarks on an epic quest in a dark underworld filled with monsters. It’s a race to stop Belphegor and save Nick. The story is well-written with an intriguing plot. The characters are realistic and come to life. This book is more action-filled than the Percy Jackson series with older kids and biblical themes. The battle scenes are violent, making it more suitable for fantasy-loving readers over fourteen. It is the second book in the series and made me want to read the first book as I anxiously await the next one. Once you start, you won’t be able to put this book down.
