Rot, the Cutest in the World!

Rot is a mutant potato. What exactly is a mutant potato, you might ask? Most people would find Rot to be very un-cute. He loves mud, eating stuff, games like checkers, and competing in contests.

One day, Rot sees a board advertising a “Cutest in the World” contest. Rot is so sure he will win that he sings a winning song at the top of his lungs. The other contestants don’t think much of it!

Speaking of the other contestants, they are a fluffy bunny, an adorable kitten, and a pretty jellyfish. Does Rot’s unique look stand a chance against such cuteness?

The funniest part of this book is when Rot considers eating the other contestants (“NOM NOM NOM!”) so he can win. He would definitely win with no competition! He even considers changing his appearance to win. But who walks away with the trophy and “Cutest in the World” title?

This book is hilarious!! I mean, it is laugh-out-loud funny. The pictures are also funny by themselves, but together they make a can’t-miss book! This book is a perfect example of being unashamedly yourself. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
