Rio 2: Off and Flying
This book is called Off and Flying. It is another Rio book! That was a great movie because I liked the story. This book takes place after the first Rio movie. Blu, Jewel, and their kids go searching for another blue macaw in the Amazon jungle. “Blu was nervous about leaving the city and going into the wild jungle. But he had to admit the scenery was spectacular.” There is a very funny picture in this book when Blu is making pancakes with his kids. I laughed so hard when Blu’s GPS said “Destination Ah-moe-zone” instead of Amazon. I like it when books have good jokes about words. There is a problem in this story because of “some loggers who wanted to cut down the jungle.” But if there are no trees left in the jungle, there will not be any place for the birds to live! Will Blu and his family find the Amazon and another blue macaw? Will the loggers cut down the jungle? If you want to know the answers, you should read this book to find out.
