Pumpkin Heads

Pumpkin Heads is a book about a bunch of pumpkins during the month of October. In October, a lot of people go to pumpkin patches to find a good pumpkin to decorate for Halloween at the end of the month. When people get pumpkins, most people will carve a face in them that might be scary or nice, or else they might just paint on them. This book shows some of the different kinds of pumpkins you might see in October, like big and small, and some of the faces that might be carved on them, like a witch or a cowboy.

Pumpkin Heads isn’t very long, but it has good pictures of real and fake pumpkins on the pages. I wish there were a few more pictures, but I like that it isn’t a scary story like other Halloween ones. I like that I can read the story by myself and think that this book is a good one for anyone to read in the fall before Halloween.
