Professor Wooford McPaw’s History of Astronomy (Professor Wooford McPaw’s History of Things, 2)

We really enjoyed this book, Professor Wooford McPaw’s History of Astronomy by Elliot Kruszynski (even though Julianne isn’t really “into” astronomy). It was really funny and everyone has big feet! But aside from that, astronomy is pretty cool, especially with Wooford. And this book tells you all about it. From Ancient Greece to today, there is so much to learn in this book. I really liked the part about Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. It’s crazy, but it’s real. This book even mentions the space race between NASA and the Russian Space Thingy (Mom edit: the SSSR).

There is so much to learn in this book, from history to what happens with stars to black holes to what is out there in the galaxy. (Hint: it’s super space-cious out there!) It’s a great way to learn about Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein and SPACE!

Julianne adds: It’s pretty cool and I like that everyone has big feet. I also like the dog (Professor Wooford). It’s crazy and funny all together. It’s just awesome; he knows lots of things about astronomy.
