There was this fish, who was going to visit her cousin who just had a lot of babies. But while she was going, she saw a dragonfly that was actually a hook! When she ate the dragonfly she thought she was flying while she was getting out through the water. She was caught by the fisherman, but then there was a stork that had also seen her, and the stork snatched her up and flew away with her. She thanked the stork, because she thought he was escorting her to her cousin. While they were flying, she asked the stork if he was related to an egret, and the stork was upset and told her he wasn’t! But that made him drop Doreen. When the fisherman got home, his daughter asked him if he’d got anything and he didn’t. And the stork flew off. But Doreen got to see her cousin and told her the adventure she’d had.

I liked this book because it was really silly, because Doreen was thanking the people who caught her. She was happy that she got caught, because she thought they were giving her a rest and helping her. I liked the pictures; my favorite pictures were the ones where it had letters made into the pictures, like one of them was when the stork made his body look like a ‘P’ for Proud.
