Peace and Me
Peace and Me by Ali Winter and Mickael El Fathi is a really interesting and unique book. I learned a lot about different people who I had never heard of when I read this book. I liked the timeline at the beginning of the book with the boats and the dates. I never really understood what the Nobel Peace Prize was or how it became so important, but now I know a lot about it. I think my favorite Nobel Peace Prize winners are Jane Addams and Mother Teresa. I like their work with the poor and underprivileged and that they tried to make those less fortunate see their importance in the world. I think this is a great history reference book, and I added these people onto my personal timeline, too. I really enjoyed the map at the back of the book that showed what country the winners were from, too. I thought this was a really nice book.
