Our Love Grows

Pip, a little panda, asks mama panda when he will become big. Mama panda explains that everything grows with time: the tree, which went from a little branch to a strong tree; Pip’s paws, which used to leave tiny footprints in the snow. His stuffed animal Birdie got old and used with time; his blanket used to cover him all and then got too small for him. Pip did not even know how to play hide and seek very well. Then the seasons passed and Pip grew up. He keeps growing. Just like mama’s love for him, that keeps growing every day.

This book was very sweet. Mama panda held and cuddled Pip all the time she was explaining things to him. My mommy read it to me while snuggling with me as well, and I felt like this is the same for all puppies, while we grow up and get bigger and learn new things, our mama’s love for us grows and grows.
