One Wild Christmas (Life in the Wild)
One Wild Christmas tells the hilarious story of best friends who forgot the most important Christmas decoration. Could you imagine a bear, a moose, and a beaver as best friends? In this book, you will see the three pals making preparations for Christmas, but Bear will not let them cut down a tree from the forest. Bear tries to stop Beaver from using his big teeth to cut down the tree, so the Moose charges at Bear and trouble begins and the friends begin to battle it out over the tree. Bear’s friends won’t listen, so he ties them up to show them how they can save the tree and not cut it down. The hilarious illustrations show animals quarreling and making up. This book shows that friends can have disagreements but they can still work through their differences and compromise to find a solution that everyone is happy with. What a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas but with close friends. My favorite part of this book is the illustrations of the animals fighting and throwing one another through the air. This is sure to be a new holiday favorite for readers and their families.
