One Silver Summer
Sass has lost her mother in a terrible car accident and is now sent from America to live with her uncle in Cornwall, England. One day she finds a beautiful silvery horse called Bo. She finds peace between her and the horse but then an arrogant boy soon ruins it. At first, the boy, Alex, does not approve of Sass trespassing; he wants her away from his home and his horse. After a while though he starts to soften his temperament and offers to teach Sass to ride. Alex is starting to bring out a different personality while Sass is beginning to feel something again after all of her grief. Alex and Sass start to fall for each other but Alex has a secret that could ruin their relationship. Will Sass be able to trust Alex and be able to work around their differences or will Alex lose the one girl that has created confidence in him?
One Silver Summer was interesting. I would give it three stars because I didn’t really enjoy all of the romance in it. One of my favorite characters was Harry, Sass’ uncle’s dog; he was very funny. I would recommend this book to anyone looking a romantic novel.
