Did you know that “Japanese macaques have been known to throw snowballs”? Or did you know that “European otters dig underground tunnels to get from land into water”? I read an interesting book called Angry Birds Animal Showdown. This book is from National Geographic. I have read other books from National Geographic and I liked them a lot. This was an exciting book about animals fighting! There are a lot of animals in this book like a cobra, an orca, a dingo, a Madagascar hissing cockroach, the black-tailed prairie dog, bighorn sheep, tarantula hawk, red-bellied piranha, golden eagle, brown bear, and many, many more. The illustrations show some photographs and also some art pictures. I was surprised to find out some amazing facts about animals, like zebras have their own stripes. “No two zebras have the same pattern of black and white stripes.” I liked this whole book because of the interesting and surprising facts. Boys and girls who like animals are going to enjoy this book, especially if they also like Angry Birds!
