Have you ever met a real live news reporter? Mr. Klutz, the principal at Ella Mentry School thought the students would love to meet the local news reporter, Sprinkles Newman. He invited Miss Newman to talk to the students about being a meteorologist, and she tells them what it is like to predict the weather for the local news and what it is like to be on TV. When a storm arrives at the school and Miss Newman’s cue-card holder, Luke Warm, is injured, she thinks she won’t be able to do the weather on her own. The teachers and students of Ella Mentry School help Miss Newman.

This was an interesting story because it had a lot of facts about weather. It was also nice because it showed how important it is to be confident in yourself to show others you know what you are doing. As always, the students of Ella Mentry School are relatable and seem like students who would be at any school. I can’t wait to see who the next character will be in the next book of this series.
