My Puppy Patch

This is a book about a girl and her puppy. Patch is her puppy’s name. It is Patch’s first walk, but to take Patch on her walk the girl needs to learn a few commands. Patch is a very smart dog, so she knows exactly what to do. But while Patch and her owner are walking, things get a little tangled. Theo Heras makes the characters come to life. Patch seems like the best dog anyone could have. Patch’s actions are also very realistic to a dog’s actions. The illustrations are fantastic and show a different way of expressing art. Alice Carter did an amazing job with them. This book is meant for beginner readers to first-grade readers, or someone just looking for an easy, relaxing book. This book would make an excellent series with books like Patch goes to school. I definitely recommend this book. This book made me smile the whole time I was reading it.
